Our first international trip with Esme was great with the exception of two things. First Lauren checked a bag leaving Dallas. Arrived in Costa Rica and she did not even think to grab it at baggage claim (noticed once we arrived at the resort, an hour away from the airport). In her defense, we had a ton of stuff travelling with this baby. Second, Lauren and I had to get Covid tested for re-entry into the States. Neither of us have ever been tested but Lauren tests kids all the time as a Covid nurse. Lauren went first and you would have thought she was going to die. Keep in mind I am watching her the entire time. When it was my turn, I literally didn’t feel a thing but was a little apprehensive after watching L struggle.
All-in-all it was a relaxing time and much needed time off with family.
